- 1 pinch saffron threads (soaked in warm water)
- 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 medium red bell pepper (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste

Prepare the base
In a large paella pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
Use a wide pan for even cooking.Add garlic and spices
Stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, and saffron. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Don't let the garlic burn.Incorporate the rice
